We've made some exciting changes for 2005—all geared towards making your participation in the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic both simpler and more enjoyable!
• In order to maintain a high level of service, the tournament has been limited to 75 teams. A $1,000 deposit will secure your place in the tournament and will also secure a berth at the Baytowne Marina during the event. To reserve a slip check our Slip Reservations page.
• The Early Bird entry deadline has been extended to May 31. Entry forms received by that date with a minimum $1,000 deposit are eligible to win $1,000
plus five nights of free dockage at the Baytowne Marina.
• The 2005 Entry Form now has space for you to order additional event tickets. Your tickets will be waiting for you when you check in during Registration.
• Rules regarding from where boats can leave, when they can leave and the start of tournament fishing have been simplified. Review rule #4a, #4b and #5 in the Tournament Rules.
• Rules regarding the reporting of billfish releases have also been simplified (rule #11). You no longer need to call in when the billfish was hooked, just when it was relaesed.
• Contact and mailing information has been consolidated. The main contact for the tournament is Shawna Meisner, the Tournament Coordinator. Entry forms should be sent to Shawna, and she will be happy to handle your other questions or requests. You can also contact the Tournament Director, Chris Miller. Find complete mailing, telephone and e-mail information on our Contacts page.
