7:00-9:00pm - Mini Gras @ the Village
After the successful launch of Mini Gras last summer, The Village is continuing this evening of enchantment for children of all ages. Mini Gras has numerous children's activities sprinkled throughout the Events Plaza, and promises to be a weekly favorite for kids. Activities include a DJ spinning children's favorites and New Orleans-inspired music, caricature artists, face painters, a balloon sculpting stilt-walker, a rock wall, a bouncy castle and much more. Mini Gras also hosts a Mini-Parade where participants get to show off their beads as they prance through the Village's pedestrian-friendly streets.

7:00-10:00pm - Kick-off Party at the Baytowne Conference Center featuring Vibe
Originally created as a blues and rock trio, Vibe has matured into a versatile jazz standards quartet. This group has worked steadily for eight years with various members and is able to provide something for everyone with its two vocalists. Vibe has a sound that gets positive reaction from listeners of all ages, covering the classics of yesteryear to popular stylings of Dianna Krall to the soft sound of James Taylor.

Wednesday Night Concert Series featuring Liz Mandville Greeson & the Blue Points

On stage Liz Mandville is pure magic! Hip shakin' Liz gets the crowd dancing with the first blast of her powerful, four octave, soul-drenched voice. She's a high voltage performer and a red hot mama. She's also solid as an acoustic and electric guitar player and her rub board playing adds a spicy back-porch feel. Equally at home in an intimate club setting or on a festival stage, she is a total professional, on time and in control, never missing a show! Having narrowly averted a major disaster on an oil rig, the Thunderbirds have just returned home to their secret base when TB5, their space based station, is critically damaged in a suspected meteor strike. Unbeknown to them, the attack on TB5 is a deliberate ploy by international master criminal Aristotle Spode to get them off the island. He takes over the island and forces Brains into submission, using the power of his mind. But Spode has overlooked one key factor: Alan, Fermat and Tin Tin are still on the island…

7:00-10:00pm - Live Music in the Events Plaza
Epic recording artist Moses Mayfield, previously known as the Stewart-Mayfield Project, will perform in the Events Plaza at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Moses Mayfield was signed just a few months ago to a major record deal with Epic Records, the same label that has signed such artists as Tori Amos, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, Jennifer Lopez, Duran Duran and Gretchen Wilson. An opening act, not yet named, will start at 7:00pm. Moses Mayfield takes the stage at 8:30pm.

Unscripted, Uncensored, Unbelievably Hilarious! Laugh your weekend away as this group of comedians turns audience suggested scenarios into hysterical improvisational sketches on the lawn in the Events Plaza.
