Hi Everybody,
There's not much going on with the ECBC this month, but there are a couple of things going on at Sandestin in September I thought you might be interested in.
One is the Fishin' Chix Pink Rubber Boots Ladies Fishing Rodeo. If you're a lady angler you have got to come by and join in on this one—fun, fun, fun and no experience necessary!
The other one is just plain cool—the Ultimate Air Dogs Southern Dock Jumping Championship. They've built a special dock in the Village covered with astroturf so the dogs can get a good running start before jumping (some over 20 feet!) into the lagoon.
You'll find more information about both of these events below.
And lastly, I wanted to let you know that one of our sister tournaments here on the Gulf, the Mobile Big Game Fishing Club Labor Day Tournament, which was postponed earlier this year because of weather, is scheduled for September 19-21. You can call Bill Weachter at 251-402-8392 for more information or email bwaechter@gulfcity.com. |

The Pensacola-based women's fishing group will cast its rods September 18-20 for the annual Pink Rubber Boots Ladies Fishing Rodeo-Destin; the docks at Baytowne Marina might never be the same… READ MORE » |

The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is presenting the Ultimate Air Dogs Southern Dock Jumping Championship at The Village of Baytowne Wharf on September 20th and 21st.
Ultimate Air Dogs is one of the premier dock jumping organizations in the country and showcases a variety of jumps including the "Splash" where dogs compete for distance, the "Ultimate Vertical" where the focus is on the height of the jump and the "Catch It" where dogs are judged by distance, but must also catch the object thrown for the jump to count… READ MORE » |
