The Sandestin Celebration Fishing Tournament
August 2, 2010 | Staff Writer | You cannot keep a Gulf Coast fisherman down. As NOAA opened up more fishing area, we started getting anxious to get back out on the water—so let's go fishing! Save the dates, August 25-29, 2010, for The Sandestin Celebration Fishing Tournament!
Categories include weigh-in and release for billfish, including swordfish, and weigh-in categories for king mackerel, amberjack, grouper and possibly red snapper.
The entry fee is $1,000 with optional jackpot entries for all species categories. There will also be divisions for boats 35' and under and over 35' and top Lady, Junior, Overall Boat and Overall Angler.
