FishTrack.com provides cloud-free Sea Surface Temperature charts and Chlorophyll imagery for the world’s best fishing spots as well as a database of how-to articles, fishing reports and the latest offshore fishing news.
FishTrack.com and Buoyweather.com recently announced a new partnership with the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic to provide tournament participants with the most accurate marine weather and sea surface temperature charts available.
The ECBC is one of the largest marlin tournaments on the Gulf Coast. Ranked as one of the top 10 big money tournaments by Marlin magazine, this event attracts the top offshore fishing boats in the Gulf of Mexico.
“Crews fishing the ECBC make long runs to find fish and accurate wind and swell forecasts as well as sea surface temperature charts help them plan their trip,” said Charlie Levine, editor of FishTrack.com. “We’re excited about this partnership and have provided the ECBC with accurate, up-to-date weather information that participants can find right on the tournament’s website, www.fishecbc.com.”
In addition to weather information for some of the most popular fishing hot spots in the Gulf of Mexico, Buoyweather‘s meteorologists will also prepare a detailed forecast leading up the tournament. This forecast will be published on Fishtrack.com and Buoyweather.com and will be made available to the fleet of boats fishing in the tournament. As part of the partnership, Fishtrack.com will also be publishing daily catch reports during the ECBC, social media posts and a full recap of the event.
“We want to provide all of our tournament participants the most accurate weather information available,” said ECBC Tournament Director Adam Alfonso. “This partnership with Fishtrack and Buoyweather provides us with the type of information the crews in the ECBC need to find fish and travel safely on the water.”
In addition to weather and SST information, Fishtrack is also providing Premium Memberships for the winning team in the ECBC.
