ORCA, Mojo Sportswear to Co-Sponsor 2014 ECBC

The Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic at Sandestin, one of the nation’s premier billfish tournaments, will be presented by not one but two great sponsors this year. The Outdoor Recreation Company of America, ORCA, has teamed up with Mojo Sportswear in a new co-sponsorship at the tournament’s Presenting level. “We had such a great time at last year’s event working with the Mojo staff that it just made perfect sense for us to team up this year,” says ORCA’s co-founder and president, Jim Ford. “It’s a great fit for us and we’re able to build some terrific relationships during this event—we look forward to it all year long.”

Mojo Sportswear will also remain at the Presenting Sponsor level, highlighting their unique blend of technical fishing gear and casual lines at the tournament, working out of their 40-foot, fully wrapped Mojo World Tour bus. “The ECBC is definitely one of the best events of the year for us,” reports Mojo co-founder and president Tim Mossberg. “The Mojo brand has very strong ties to bluewater sportfishing—most of our products are geared toward the demands of tournament fishing: long hours, lots of heat and sun exposure, salt spray, just a torture test for clothing. ORCA was founded by Jim Ford and Cliff Walker, both veterans of the building industry and hardcore hunters and anglers.
