WRI Weather ForecastingWe’re pleased to announce that Weather Routing Inc. (WRI) is returning in 2016 and will provide daily forecasts starting June 22nd through the 26th. A link to the forecasts will be placed on the fishecbc.com front page at that time. Weather maps and products specifically created for the ECBC will also be available at that link. You can register for the ECBC forecasts at seaweather.net.

NEW FISHING PLANNER
WRI is also announcing its new Fishing Planner, available to subscribers, where extensive research and programming have joined forces to create a product WRI is confident will be useful in planning your fishing trip. The Planner is an interactive tool that allows you to view high resolution charts that include “Hot Spot” overlays which highlight and predict preferred areas where various species of fish may be present while feeding. Their “FishCast” will be a consensus of all these Hot Spots and will provide a separate chart highlighting the ultimate destination in which to head.

If you’ve not tried or viewed the Fishing Planner before, we encourage you to do so. WRI has just added links to two video tutorials with step by step instructions on how Fishing Planner works. The links can be found near the bottom right hand corner of the Fishing Planner Page, with links labeled “Tutorial #1” and “Tutorial #2”.
